Former Colorado Running Back Expected to Add Depth to Kansas State Backfield
Dylan Edwards, a former standout running back for the University of Colorado, has committed to Kansas State. The move was announced by Edwards on social media, and it represents a significant addition to the Wildcats' backfield.
Edwards' Breakout Season at Colorado
Edwards emerged as one of Colorado's most talented offensive playmakers during the 2022 season. In 12 games, he rushed for 776 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. His breakout performance against Utah in October, where he rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown, was particularly impressive.
Edwards' commitment to Kansas State is expected to further bolster the Wildcats' running attack. The Wildcats are looking to replace Deuce Vaughn, who transferred to Arkansas in the offseason. Edwards will join running back Devontae Key and quarterback Jake Rubley in the Wildcats' backfield.
